Through DRIV’s partnership with The Orchard, owners have exclusive access to a portfolio of luxury vehicles at a rate, on average, equal to one-half of exotic car agencies. Furthermore, Owner’s will quickly appreciate DRIV’s exceptional service and complimentary vehicle delivery.
How do I reserve a vehicle?
Reservations can be made through your Orchard Concierge via email or phone (707) 299-4785. Vehicles are reserved for a 24 hour period, are first-come first-served, and require a three day minimum duration. A deposit of one day is required to hold your reservation. This deposit is 100% refundable if you cancel your reservation with at least 48 hours notice. If you cancel your reservation with less than 48 hours notice, this deposit will be forfeited.
How do I get the cars for my reservation?
Depending on your travel itinerary, DRIV can either deliver the car to the airport you are flying into or directly to The Orchard property. If you are flying into SFO, OAK or Napa Valley airport and would like to drive to the property yourself, we can meet you at the terminal to drop the car off to you. If you have your own transportation to The Orchard property, we can deliver the car directly to your cottage.
Do I need a clean driving record?
No, but it helps. We do accept drivers with up to two minor traffic offences or one minor claim in the last 3 years. Any potential drivers outside of this requirement may be considered on an individual basis. Additional insurance premiums may apply.
What is the minimum age?
The Luxury DRIV program is available for anyone between 30 and 65. Any prospective drivers outside of this age range may be considered on an individual basis. Additional insurance premiums may apply.
Who pays for insurance while I'm driving the club vehicles?
Your personal auto insurance will be primary when out in a club vehicle. This is consistent with insurance laws in California that insurance coverage follows the driver, not the vehicle. During the application process we will verify that you have adequate coverage.
Do you offer roadside assistance?
Yes, 24/7 roadside assistance is standard with all Luxury DRIV reservations.
Do you provide an overview on the car?
Yes, a brief 20-30 minute vehicle overview will be given prior to your use of the car to ensure safety and comfort levels prior to your reservation. The overview includes operation of temperature controls, lights, stereo controls, in addition to shifting tips, braking pointers, and convertible top instructions.
Who is allowed to drive the cars?
The only authorized driver is the person who fills out a completed Luxury DRIV Agreement. If you would like to have more than one driver on a vehicle, each driver will need to complete the Agreement and be approved by DRIV.
Are there daily mileage limits or restrictions?
Yes, each reservation includes 100 miles per day. If you reserve a car for 4 days, you are allowed 400 miles for that reservation. If you go over this allowance, you will be charged $3.00 per mile for each mile over.
Are pets or smoking allowed?
No pets or smoking are permitted in any DRIV vehicle. There is a $100 detailing fee for odor and hair removal. Additional charges may apply for damage.
